Renaissance: Important People
There are a lot of important people who lived in the renaissance, for the example there was William Shakespear who is one of the greatest poets and playwrights in the earth, he changed the way plays were written by creating new styles of writing. Another big artist from this time was Voltaire, one of France's greatest writer and philosopher, that with his humorous verses he became favorite in society circles but then for insulting Chevalier De Rohan he was given the option of imprisonment or exile and he chose exile and he went to live in England where he studied the philosophy of John Locke.
In the renaissance there weren't only artists, there were also a lot of important scientists who lived during it like Sir Isaac Newton who is the most influential scientist who ever lived, his accomplishments in mathematics, optics, and physics founded most of modern science and revolutionized the world, another great scientist was Leonardo da Vinci, he was one of the greatest masters of the high renaissance, he is considered one of the painters of all time.

How Technology Impacts Everyday Life?
For me technology is one of the most important things in my life, I use it every day, when I wake up the first thing I do is put music on my Ipod or check my phone. Then after school the first thing I do is watch TV or play videogames. When I was smaller I didn't understand how important it was, now I know that if it wasn't for technology, life would be a lot harder than it is today. Now technology has even become kind of like my addiction, I always want to know if any new advances are happening, when are they going to bring any new product or when are they going to release it. In conclusion technology is a fundamental part of my life and I don't know how I could live without it.

World Muslim population doubling, report projects
Twenty years ago there were 1.1 billion Muslims, that digit has been doubled to this day. If the birthrate continues this way Pakistan will have more Muslims that Indonesia, with 256 million and in all countries the digit will doubled, also with some rate of conversion this digit could be even bigger. Although people are saying that the raise of people in the last 20 years is going to be less that in these following 20 years because Muslims lines are flattening out.

Muslim burial site in upstate New York runs into problems
Leaders in New York are trying to shut down a local Muslim community center's burial site. The name of this place is Sufi Muslim Osmanli Naksibendi Hakkani Dergahi and they want to shut it down because they are saying that this burial center hasn't been legalized as a burial center, instead they say it's a private property and that people shouldn't bury people there. Bob McCarthy said that this was not his problem, that "What they do in New York City has nothing to do with us" but still according to Hans Hass who is the representative of the burial center with CNN said that he and the town voted that the burying of people there should stop but Hass said that this burial center was approved in 2005 and that it wasn't exclusively for Muslims, anyone who wants to bury someone can come and do it.

Islam: A religion of many faces, misconceptions
Professor Yvonne Haddad is asked a lot the question, "Why do they hate us", after series of terrorism attacks. To this he has said, "it is not as if a religion can hate". People often label this religion as if their were terrorists but they are not, people in this religion are as varied as it can, being this religion the second largest faith on the planet with nearly 1.1 billion people. Also this religion isn't that different, as Christianity and Judaism they only believe in one god, in this case Muhammad.

Generation Islam
On a Friday morning a normal wearing a baseball cap entered a hotel restaurant, he casually checked his watch but in the blink of an eye the room was filled with white smoke and flying debris. Another suicide bomber stroke in the JW Marriot killing 9 people. This is they think a "Holy War" against the west. People think that Muslim youth is often turned to violence because they are ill educated with the idea that they will be meeting virgins in paradise when they die.

Who knows me best?
I think the one who knows me best is my best friend from Ecuador Santiago or as I know him Colo because his from Colombia. I met him when I first got there after living 8 years in Niacaragua. The first day of school I didn't instantly become friends with him, I first met Emilio who then introduced me to every one else. The first year I wasn't his friend but in the second year I started talking to him more, going to his house, hanging out in the mall. Then our moms became friends and from then he was like a brother my age,(I already have a smaller one), with him I could talk any of my problems and he wouldn't laugh like every one else, he would help me solve them, this also happened the way around. I think the thing I'm going to miss the most apart from my mom from Ecuador would be him but at least I got very good friends here in Nicaragua.

My craziest experience in a shopping mall
My craziest experience in a mall was when with a friend I stayed in galerias until too late so because we were so bored we thought on what to do and then we saw this guys like sliding in the hall because it was raining and beacuse there was no one else there we joined them, we had a great time, we did like backward slides, we did competitions for the one who slided the most and one of them even got in his belly. After that we started touching a light bulb which had a wire hanging out, even if it was dumb, it was very fun cause the current passed though all of us when we holded hands. When the parents of my friend picked us up they were kind of pissed cause we soaked all our clothes, specially our shoes :).

How I Use Facebook and why I can’t live without it
I use Facebook every single day beacause through there I can watch all the photos of my friends, for example if I have a friend who went on vacation to England, I can watch what is he doing with photos or videos. Also if I have an old childhood friend I can get in contact with him and let's say get together with him and talk about things that he has done through all the years. Another use of Facebook is chatting with friends and even if it isn't that perfect. it works not only because it is instant, also because in Facebook adding friends is a lot easier that in other social networks. With Facebook I hace contacted tons of old friends and for that I am thankful.

My favorite movie
My favorite movie is "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" by Edgar Wright, this movie is about Scott Pilgrim that is dating a high schooler, Knives Chau, Scott hasn't dated since the big break up he had with her ex Envy Adams, he thinks all is fine until he meets Ramona Flowers and isntantly falls in love with her. Because of these he has to break up with Knives and when he does she becomes histeric and sad. After dating Ramona some days he discovers that to be with her he has to fight her 7 evil ex's. The movie is basically about he winning Ramona. This is my favorite movie beacuse it is made kind of like a comic mixed with real life.

My favorite song
My favorite song is "Hey Soul Sister" from Train because it reminds me of when I am at the beach and my happiest memories were always at the beach. There I learned how to walk and are where I threw my grandfather's ashes. What reminds me of the beach is the ukulele that you can always hear. This song is recently new to me beacuse I just heard it like 5 months ago but since the moment I heard it on the radio I had to repeat it and repeat it and repeat because I liked all the style and the way they made it.
What makes this song different from the others is that it has a mix between ukulele, harmony from the voice and drums. This song also reminds me of my friends that have always been there for me, the ones that i have known since all my life and also that ones that have recently appeared. The only thing I dont like about the song is its music video, I saw the original and it dissapointed me because in comparison to the song the video was awful, its just the singer singing in the middle of the street kind of like dancing in some kind of way.
